Just a quick update on the Pulp Fiction 20th anniversary Royale With Cheeseathon
We’ve had guest posts from Cathy at 746 Books and Anna at Film Grimoire.
The cheeseathon is still going on; send your stuff to ragingfluff@yahoo.ca
Need some cheeseathon inspiration for your post? You may want to check out two pieces of Tarantino news that have emerged in the last couple of days.
The first is that QT is going ahead with The Hateful Eight after all. You may remember that after the script was leaked a few months back, Tarantino had a hissy fit and scrapped the entire project. Well, it’s back on. Tarantino regulars Tim Roth, Samuel L. Jackson, Zoe Bell and James Parks are confirmed for the cast. Tarantino has already had a cast reading.
The second is that next year Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair will be in cinemas. This is Tarantino’s original vision of the Kill Bill story: ONE LONG MOVIE with a 30-minute anime sequence in the middle of it.
What do you think, fluffsters? It’s been ten years since the Bride went on a roaring rampage of revenge. As much as I want to see Uma Thurman slash her way through a whole bunch of yakuza, I wonder if there will be much interest in this.
Both films at once, and an anime sequence too? I don’t expect to be sitting through that, even though I enjoyed both original films.
Best wishes, Pete.

I would love to do something for this, if I get a few minutes. When is the deadline?
