‘The Hateful Eight’ Rides Into Town This Christmas

The trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight is here.

Everyone in the cast (of eight, naturally) gets thier moment in the trailer, which is heavy on the snow, the sound of guns being cocked, and Tarantino’s signature quirky dialogue. Did people in the Old West really say “Now we’re talking!”

The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Walton Goggins, and Demian Bichir.

Eight strangers are forced to share a cabin during a blizzard.

Expect things to get tense, bloody and violent awfully fast.

Tarantino’s eighth movie, filmed in “glorious 70 mm”, opens this Christmas.

  1. I doubt anyone ever said ‘now we’re talking’ back then. It’s also doubtful that they would let a black man on the coach, let alone share a cabin with him.
However, Russell looks the part, the 70mm widescreen draws me in like a siren on the rocks, and if nothing else, it’s Tarantino.
    Cheers mate, Pete.
