I’ve whined before about dreadful “Oirish” accents.
I came across a great video on Facebook, via Hairy Baby, a great Irish tee-shirt company: I sing their praises here.

If you don’t get the joke, you need to watch ‘Father Ted’
The video does a pretty good job explaining some of the different regional accents you’ll hear in Ireland.
And there isn’t a begorrah to be heard.
I love their T-shirts, and the accents video was hilarious (and educational) too.
Makes me realise how much I miss Father Ted.
Cheers Niall, Pete.

I’m hopeless, but don’t worry, I’d never dare to try it within your earshot anyway.

Oh my goodness, I love the video on the different ways to speak in Ireland. I’m familiar with a couple of those… especially Dublin, of course 🙂
