The Gods of Egypt

What the hell is this bullshit?

Gods and mortals running and flying around a very dodgy-looking Egypt.

There hasn’t been this much bad CGI since The Scorpion King.

Official Synopsis:
Set, the merciless god of darkness, has taken over the throne of Egypt and plunged the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. Few dare to rebel against him. A young thief, whose love was taken captive by the god, seeks to dethrone and defeat Set with the aid of the powerful god Horus.

Starring famous Egyptians Gerard Butler, Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, Bruce Spence, and Bryan Brown

  1. Sandworms stolen from ‘Dune.’ The most non-Egyptian-looking cast in history; and talking of history, none apparent. I would say ‘what’s the point’, but I find myself saying that about so many new films these days. As Ray Batty said in ‘Blade Runner.’ “Time to die.”

  2. oh boy! It looks like an awful, distorted adaptation of Zelazny’s “Creatures of light and darkness”. But it comes to no surprise, since it’s the same director that defiled and mangled Caves of Steels to give us I, Robot. I’ll stay as far as possible.
