Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
The Germans loved to burn things. Shops, synagogues, Reichstags, houses, personal items, slain people, and of course, books.
Markus Zusak, The Book Thief, page 84
Nice teaser I must read this book.

Great teaser. Saw the film and it put me off but I’ve heard the book is much better. I should probably give it a try.

I liked the movie very much but had read the book first and loved its language and how death stalked and how language and books were so precious to Liesel. Here’s my link to The Jazz Files intro and teaser: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1bS

Your teaser brings me right back to the scene where they are burning books and Liesel steals a book…I liked reading The Book Thief, although I didn’t love it as much as most others did.
Happy reading! Here’s my teaser of All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
