A terrible beauty was born at Reading Ireland Month these last few days – a terrible sickness, that is.
Cathy at 746 Books was laid low by a stomach bug, and I succumbed to a severe case of man flu and have spent the last three days in the sort of feverish delirium reserved for heroines of gothic novels.
I missed all of the Easter 1916 Centenary celebrations, much like this fella who decided to answer his phone while the President was laying a wreath outside the GPO.
Some highlights from this week:
All of the Begorrathon posts can be found here.
Hope you and Cathy get better soon. Being sick over the holidays suck

I bet that army officer is in trouble for being on the phone- on TV!
I watched the centenary commemoration on the news. It seemed to be well-attended, and very dignified.
I hope that you and Kathy have recovered by now.
Cheers, Pete.

I hope you are on the mend and feeling a bit more vigor! It would be terrible to lay on the couch eating chocolates and reading for another week. 🙂
