Smoke Still Doesn’t Get in Your Eyes


The Motion Picture Association of America is facing a lawsuit that would ban smoking in movies rated G, PG, or PG-13.

The MPAA is arguing such a ban would be an infringement of free speech.

The argument about depictions of smoking in movies comes around every few years. Now seems an appropriate time to repost a piece I wrote on the topic, one of the first ever blog posts I wrote.
