Tanking Private Ryan: Fury (Trailer Review)

By Niall McArdle

What’s old is new again … and again.

Image

Battles … explosions … death … a collection of smart-mouthed misfits … a raw recruit … and a jaded, seen-it-all leader who says things like “I wouldn’t ask you to do anything I haven’t done myself” … on a seemingly impossible mission.

Yes, it’s a war movie.

Starring Brad Pitt as Major Tom Hanks. Shia “Pornstache” LaBeouf as Corporal Conscience. Michael Pena as Private Ethnic. Scott Eastwood (son of Clint) as Sergeant Handsome. Jon Bernthal as Lieutenant Wiseass. Logan Lerman as Private Greenhorn.

On the bright side, Brad Pitt finally got a shave and a haircut.

Tanking Private Ryan Fury rolls into cinemas this autumn.

  1. Hahahahaha, nice one Niall!

I must say though that I love a good war film, and I like Pitt. So I am hoping this is decent. (though I am certainly not expecting something new)
