Well, here we are again. Another year has come and gone and we find ourselves at the launch of another Reading Ireland Month.
I’m looking forward to seeing all the posts on all aspects of Irish culture.
Once again I tip my hat to my co-host, the incomparable, indomitable and incredible Cathy Brown of 746 Books. Cathy has divided this year’s Begorrathon into themed weeks: this week the focus is on contemporary Irish novels
She also has all sorts of goodies to give away on her blog.
Her first contest is a chance to win Roddy Doyle’s latest book, Charlie Savage
As for me, well I’ve been rather busy with work, hence my absence from the Blogosphere for the last while.
The good news (for me anyway) is that I have managed to complete a couple of short stories.
My most recent story is published by AGNI.
Shameless Plug Alert!

Happy Begorrathon to One and All!
What a rich and evocative story: good luck placing other literary work! And enjoy the rest of your hosting month too.
